Under this program, AOA member optometrists provide a comprehensive infant eye assessment within the first year of life as a no cost public health service. Special Olympics-Lions Clubs International Opening Eyes ProgramThis program is a vision and eye health screening let by volunteer vision care professionals. Opening Eyes provides eye exams, prescription eyewear, sunglasses, and sports goggles to Special Olympics athletes.
