Local Societies

The Colorado Optometric Association currently has three affiliated local societies. Each society elects its own leadership and plans its own events and meetings. Dues for local societies are separate from COA and AOA dues.

COA members are encouraged to become a part of their local society to meet other optometrists practicing in your area and to take advantage of continuing education and networking opportunities!

You must be a COA member to be an affiliated local society member and to attend society events.

You must be a COA member in good standing to receive continuing education credit for all local society education courses. "In good standing" is defined by the COA bylaws as "...a member who does not owe COA more than one month's dues."
